5. Seawater
Seawater can actually kill a spider. Mix a gallon of hot water with an ounce of salt. Then spray it directly on spiders and their nests.
6. White Vinegar
Vinegar is a powerful thing. Its acetic acid content makes it a powerful repellent against spiders. Mix water and vinegar in a spray bottle and spray it into all the corners and cracks of your home.
7. Citrus peel

Citrus fruits
Spiders cannot stand citrus fruits. While you can use the peel of any citrus fruit, the easiest is orange. Rub citrus peels on baseboards, window sills, really anywhere.
8. Cedar
Cedar smells good for humans, but not for spiders. Add a little cedar mulch to the perimeter of your house, and you’ll stop spiders from getting in. Be sure to maintain the mulch so that it remains effective.
