How to consume it?
Turmeric can be eaten fresh, simply by grating the rhizomes as needed. It will then keep in the fridge for a few days. However, to be able to keep it longer and consume it more easily, it is better to reduce it to powder.
Make turmeric powder
To do this, boil your rhizomes for about 30 minutes, remove the skin, cut them into thin strips, and then dry them in the open air, in the sun, or in a dehydrator. Once dry, all you have to do is grind the turmeric into a powder using a blender or coffee grinder.
