With this in mind, one effective strategy is to provide carpenter bees with their own designated space to live peacefully, thus deterring them from attacking your wooden structures.

You can achieve this by placing a carpenter bee house in an area where they are active. These small structures, sometimes referred to as mason bee homes, feature inviting pre-drilled holes where bees can make their nests. By positioning these houses near the areas where carpenter bees hover, you can entice them to settle into the nest.

Once the bees have established themselves in the nest, you can then relocate the house to the outskirts of your landscape. While this approach may require a bit more effort, it effectively keeps the bees alive and away from your wooden structures. Since bees tend to return to the same location year after year, this method offers a peaceful and permanent solution for relocating carpenter bees.
