We tend to be very careful and make sure that our pets are well and well cared for, although many times we see them doing strange things. It is part of the charm of having an animal. But there is strange, yet seemingly innocuous behavior that could be the sign of something VERY SERIOUS.
It’s called head pressure.
When the animal presses its head against walls, doors, or objects for no apparent reason, it may be your pet’s way of telling you that something is seriously wrong.
It may mean that you have forebrain disease; toxic poisoning, infections, and tumors that affect the nervous system of the animal.
This dog is pressing on his head as a result of hepatic encephalopathy caused by liver toxicity.
Other neurological disorders manifest in this way.
